Inauguration Of Ar Rohman Mosque In Pangandaran: A Symbol Of Unity Between TNI ( Tentara Nasional Indonesia) And The Community

Sambar.Id Pangandaran – The Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), General Agus Subiyanto, together with renowned preacher Ustaz Adi Hidayat, officially inaugurated the Ar Rohman Mosque in Cijulang District, Pangandaran Regency, West Java. The construction of this mosque has now been completed.  


This magnificent mosque stands tall with a dome uniquely designed to resemble a green beret adorned with four stars and the TNI AD logo. Additionally, next to the mosque, a towering minaret shaped like a missile adds to its distinctive architectural design.  


The inauguration ceremony took place on Saturday, March 1, 2025, featuring a blend of modern and traditional architectural elements. This mosque is expected to serve as both a place of worship and a center for spiritual development for TNI personnel and the surrounding community.  


### Grand Opening Ceremony  


The ceremony commenced before the Dhuhr prayer, attended by TNI officials, religious leaders, and hundreds of enthusiastic community members eager to welcome this new place of worship. The official opening was marked by the signing of a commemorative plaque by General Agus Subiyanto, symbolizing that the mosque is now ready to be used by Muslims in the area. Additionally, Ustaz Adi Hidayat signed an integrity pact as part of the ceremony.  


In his speech, General Agus Subiyanto emphasized that the mosque's construction was not just about erecting a building but also about fostering stronger ties between the TNI and the local community while promoting religious values.  


"This mosque is not merely a physical structure; it is a symbol of unity between the TNI and the people in fostering a harmonious religious life. May this mosque serve as a place for Muslims to deepen their connection with Allah SWT," said General Agus.  


### A Center for Religious and Moral Education  


During the event, Ustaz Adi Hidayat delivered an inspiring sermon, highlighting the mosque's role as a hub for moral and spiritual education.  


"A mosque is not just a place of worship; it should also be a center for preaching and education. From this sacred place, we can nurture a generation with noble character, a love for knowledge, and compassion for others," said Ustaz Adi.  


He also praised the initiative behind Ar Rohman's construction, recognizing it as a positive step in strengthening the bond between the TNI and the community. With this mosque, it is hoped that religious activities will thrive and bring widespread benefits.

Ar Rohman Mosque was built with a modern design while retaining traditional Indonesian elements. It boasts a spacious interior that can accommodate hundreds of worshippers at a time. The mosque is equipped with various facilities, including:
